NORTHEAST, Neb. -- Power has been restored to communities in northeast Nebraska following Tuesday's storms.

Northeast Power, who suffered an outage Tuesday afternoon, reported power had been restored in Dixon and Dakota Counties.

The power provider said the outage was caused by a transmission line that fell, resulting in numerous customers losing power including Ponca public schools.

It was just one incident caused by Tuesday's storms, which saw tornadoes, hails, rain, and other weather hazards affect Nebraska,
