Stanton County Sheriff's Office swears in new Deputy

A new deputy has joined the Stanton County Sheriff's Office.

STANTON, Neb. -- A new deputy has joined the Stanton County Sheriff's Office.

Deputy Derek Bosler joined the SCSO after completing 16 weeks of law enforcement training.

Stanton County said the addition of Bosler fills one of two spots that have been open on the force since the start of the year.

A native of Stanton County and U.S. Army Veteran, Bosler said it was a life goal of his to become a deputy.

Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger said he proudly welcomes Bosler to their ranks.
