One arrested and two cited following go-kart burglary
NORFOLK, Neb. -- The Norfolk Police Division has arrested one person after three people allegedly broke into a storage building.
Norfolk Police said they received a call that three males were seen "gaining access" to a storage building and left with a go-kart at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
After removing the go-kart, the three then allegedly took it to a go-kart track.
When officers arrived, they reportedly found the three individuals inside a gated-off area of the business and identified the three as two 13-year-old boys and 19-year-old Bradley Tacket, of Norfolk.
Police said they also found the building had been damaged due to forced entry.
All three were interviewed by police.
The two 13-year-olds were cited for burglary and criminal mischief before being turned over to their parents.
Tacket, however, was arrested for burglary, criminal mischief, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
