Norfolk couple arrested for burglary

NORFOLK, Neb. -- A Norfolk couple is facing charges after a burglary in northeast Nebraska Wednesday. 

Stanton County authorities said 59-year-old Robert Goste Jr. and 57-year-old Sandra Johnson were arrested Wednesday afternoon. 

Authorities were called to a burglary in progress. Investigators say Goste and Johnson opened a closed garage door on the property and stole several items. 

The couple were later found in Stanton with the stolen items and drugs. 

Both are scheduled to make their first court appearance next month.
