Cornhusker Auto celebrates brand new additions
NORFOLK, Neb. -- Cornhusker Auto celebrated a new addition and expansions to their automotive department. The dealership was awarded a certificate of excellence and ended the day with a ribbon.
Cornhusker Auto in Norfolk has been around for 66 years, but Al Rajaee has owned the dealership for 37 years and hopes for many more years of service to the community of Norfolk.
After six decades of business, space was becoming limited. The dealership added on 20,000 square feet with 22 bays which will help take care of customer service more efficiently.
“We also added a service drive and service reception area," Al Rajaee said. ”This allows customers to drive in and out weather elements. We also added on another 2,000 square feet which was to upgrade our show room expanding into our restrooms and break rooms.”
Rajaee also emphasized that the employees are the biggest part of the business and they try to meet their needs with not only climate controlled work areas, but top quality equipment.
Cornhusker Auto has spent millions of dollars for the service techs to use the latest and greatest technology. With the automotive industry changing rapidly, service techs are given that edge above other dealerships to do their jobs correctly.
“The new additions to Corn Husker auto took two years to construct and cost $4 million to complete,” Rajaee said.
