After four years of invaluable training on the Norfolk city council, Josh Moenning rose to serve as the Mayor of Norfolk.

NORFOLK, Neb. -- After four years of invaluable training on the Norfolk City Council, Josh Moenning rose to serve as the Mayor of Norfolk.
Now, after 12 years, he is stepping down and passing the torch. In front of a full crowd, including family, friends, and community members, the former mayor delivered his final speech, emphasizing his deep love for the community and expressing how much of a blessing it was to serve them.
Newly Elected Mayor Shane Clausen will be the new Mayor for the next four years. He previously served as a Norfolk City Council member since 2010 in two of the city’s four wards.
