NORFOLK, Neb. -- Staff from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis and Norfolk's US92 radio station kicked off their fundraising efforts with a remarkable $102,300 on the first day, aiming to gather essential donations to combat cancer. Wrapping up the campaign on February 21, the "Quest for Pennies" initiative contributed $1,200, coloring pages for kids brought in $8,000, and the "Partners In Hope" program added an impressive $178,851, culminating in a grand total of $281,151.

"When someone calls to donate and be a partner in hope for $19 a month, US92 and St. Jude not only recognize your contribution for a great cause but also send you home with a gift," Moore said. "They will get a 'This Shirt Saves Lives' T-shirt because they literally are saving lives with their donation. In addition to that, they're getting a sweatshirt this year, which is pretty cool. It's a unique opportunity that not every market gets. So Norfolk is pretty lucky to have that."
