DONIPHAN, Neb. - Authorities are releasing the name of the man found deceased Thursday at the Mormon Island State Recreation Area.

The Hall County sheriff’s office identified the victim as 64-year-old Randy Imler, of Doniphan, who was found deceased in the water.

Investigators said in a news release that the death was accidental and found no signs of foul play.

Hall County deputies responded to a report of a suspicious truck and boat trailer at the Mormon Island State Recreation Area around 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.

The deputies found an unoccupied boat in the water, and the Grand Island dive rescue team subsequently located the body of Imler in the same body of water.
