NORFOLK, Neb. -- Downtown Norfolk is bursting with color as the River Point Creative District unveils its first crosswalk mural, a year-long collaboration with the city, celebrated by the board and volunteers on Sunday.
"We chose music as our theme because of our popular summer concert series in the park," said Kara Weander-Gaster, Director of the Norfolk River Point Creative District. "The mural will celebrate our community's love for music and attract visitors to our concerts."
In July, The River Point Creative District will tune up for its second mural project on Third Street and Norfolk Avenue, seeking music-inspired designs to liven up the crosswalk. To any artists interested, contact the district to amplify your artistic voice.
