Eight Northeast Nebraska counties are set to be in a winter storm warning.

The National weather service is projecting heavy snow, anywhere between three and nine inches, for Knox Cedar, Antelope, Pierce, Wayne, Boone, Madison, and Stanton Counties.

Wind gust could reach 50 miles per hour.

The winter storm warning will go into effect at 4 AM on Sunday and is set expire at 1 AM on Monday.

Plan on dangerous road conditions. Blowing snow could
significantly reduce visibility. The strong winds could damage
trees and tent facilities. Power outages are possible.
