NORFOLK, Neb. -- A man authorities say has crossed the southern border dozens of times is in jail after being found with drugs in Norfolk. 

Norfolk Police say 22-year-old Edgar Mach-Toxocon was arrested on Sunday afternoon. 

Police tell us Mach-Toxocon had 100 capsules of the opioid Tramadol without a prescription. 

Along with the capsules, police also recovered $3,351 in cash. 

Authorities say a check with border authorities showed Mach-Toxocon has crossed the U.S.-Mexico Boarder 68 times. 

According to his passport, he crossed the boarder 46 times last year, and eight times this month alone. 

NPD said he was questioned about the medication and arrested for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute. 

He's currently housed in the Madison County Jail.
