Three people charged in connection to missing man's death
COLUMBUS, Neb. -- The Columbus Police Department says they have arrested three people in connection with the death of Nathan Johnson.
30-year-old Johnson, of Butler County, went missing back at the end of October and was found dead at the beginning of December in another county.
62-year-old Donald J. Newman, 35-year-old Erika M. Henke, and 47-year-old Robert L. Weaselhead were all arrested in connection to Johnson's death.
Neman, Henke, and Weaselhead were arrested for removing/concealing human remains. Henke and Weaselhead were also arrested for tampering with physical evidence.
There is no further information as of Dec. 31, 2024. This is an ongoing investigation between Columbus Police Department, the Platte County Sheriff's Office, and the Colfax County Sheriff's Office.
