OSMOND - Was that Patrick Vinson or Patrick Mahomes?

The Tigers QB did his best impression of the pro star with pinpoint, picture-perfect precision passes and improvisational highlight runs, adding up to six total touchdowns for the Osmond signal-caller in a 58-20 Tigers win over Randolph Friday night.

Vinson tossed 3 scores and ran for 3 more, as Osmond rolled up 435 yards of total offense, led by Patrick's 11-of-12 completions & 216 yards passing, to go along with 64 rushing yards . Receiver Ryan Schmit hauled in four of those passes for 157 yards and two TDs.

The Cardinals countered with their feature back Justin Haselhorst, who finished with 30 carries for 121 yards and two scores. Tristan Mosel also caught a touchdown pass to complete the Randolph scoring.

But turnovers would be the Cardinals' undoing, as 6 fumbles and one pick were quickly cashed in by Osmond on ensuing possessions, including a Hail Mary from Vinson to Schmit from 33 yards out as the halftime gun sounded.

The Cardinals (1-3) are back home against Winside next Friday, while Osmond (3-1) heads to Wausa.
