Knox County suspect brought back from Texas to face charges in son's death

Knox County authorities have brought a suspect back from Texas, and now the man faces felony charges in connection to his son's death.

CENTER, Neb. -- Knox County authorities have brought a suspect back from Texas, and now the man faces felony charges in connection to his son's death.

Earlier this month, the Knox County Sheriff's Office traveled south to Brownwood, Texas. The brought back Edward S. Davis, who is now charged with committing child abuse intentionally with death and manslaughter.

The charges are in connection to the January death of Davis's 4-month-old son.

Davis remains in the Knox County Jail on $500,000 bond. His arraignment is pending.
