OPD searching for Omaha robbery suspects
Authorities are investigating a robbery in Omaha.
OMAHA, Neb. -- Authorities are investigating a robbery in Omaha.
Omaha Police officers were advised that two male suspects, one armed with a handgun, came to La Providencia at 4810 S. 24th Street and demanded money shortly after 1:00 p.m.
After receiving cash from the clerk, the suspects broke a jewelry case and removed the jewelry from inside. The suspects then fled the store.
OPD describes the armed suspect as a while male, tall with an average build. Officers say he was wearing a brown Carhart coat with light blue jeans, brown boots and a blue surgical mask.
The second suspect was described as a white or light-skinned Hispanic male wearing blue jeans, an orange shirt with a black hoodie and light brown shoes with white soles.
