NORFOLK, Neb. -- A three-vehicle crash in northeast Nebraska has sent four people to the hospital.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., multiple agencies responded to the accident at the intersection of Highway 35 and Benjamin Avenue on the outskirts of Norfolk near Woodland Park. 

According the Nebraska State Patrol's Cody Thomas, a preliminary investigation indicates that a Dodge Journey ran a red light at the intersection, striking both a GMC Sierra and a Ford F150. 

Thomas says that both occupants of the Dodge Journey and both occupants of the GMC Sierra were taken to the hospital for minor injuries and released. The driver of the Ford F150 was not injured.
