NORFOLK, Neb. -- Nebraskans are enjoying the warmer-than-usual temperatures across the state, but dry conditions and high winds are making for scenarios that weather officials say could be very dangerous.

Red flag warnings have been issued all over Nebraska until this evening.

Forecasters say winds are expected to gust as high as 40 miles per hour today, which combined with just 23 percent relative humidity, makes for high fire danger.

Weather officials say any fire that ignites will spread quickly, so outdoor burning is not recommended.
