The Norfolk Area Big Give to return for sixth straight year
The Philanthropy Council of Northeast Nebraska announced the Norfolk Area Big Give will be held from May 23rd to May 25th this year.<br/><br/>
By News Channel NebraskaNORFOLK, Neb. -- A local organization is bringing back a fundraising event for its sixth straight year.
The Philanthropy Council of Northeast Nebraska announced the Norfolk Area Big Give will be held from May 23rd to May 25th this year.
The event had 30 organizations participate last year.
The event focuses on giving back to non-profit organizations in Norfolk and Northeast Nebraska.
“The Norfolk Area Big Give is a fantastic opportunity to give back to all these charities that provide amazing services and amazing benefits to our community,” said Nick Benes, Marketing Chair for the Norfolk Area Big Give. “It really builds an environment of giving back and generosity.”
Last year, the Big Give raised $182,784.25.
