NORFOLK, Neb. -- In a press release provided Thursday, Norfolk Public Schools has announced the time and location for their 7th ever Project Problem Solve event.

The event is free and open to the public and will feature projects created by both Norfolk Public School teachers and students. The hands-on learning opportunities during the event will include creating vinyl stickers, 3D printing, creating animal cell models as well as other STEM-inspired activities. The event is also part of a partnership with the Big Red Keno Science & Math Program, which has been supporting Norfolk Public Schools for the past seven years.

Bill Harvey, the General Counsel from Big Red Keno, explained why they provide these grants as well as their partnership with NPS.

“We are proud to support the communities we serve through grants that promote science and math education for youth. We are pleased to continue our long-time partnership with Norfolk Public Schools, providing support to programs that help teachers bring science to life.”

The event will take place on March 10, at the Lincoln Montessori Elementary School from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
