NORFOLK, Neb. -- Norfolk's mall hosted a racecar show this weekend.

About fifteen racecars were parked in Sunset Plaza Mall for families to check out while they shopped. It's part of how organizers are hyping people up for the races this summer.

One passerby, Larry Lehman, said he himself raced for ten years in the 1990s until his wife wanted them to invest in a bigger home.

He said seeing the cars brought back memories.

"Oh it's lots of fun," he said, telling NCN how he was a mechanic and his friend still races.

The cars will stay there until 7 p.m. Sunday.

OffRoad Speedway has racing events starting in April.
