STANTON. Neb.-- A northeast Nebraska man will spend years behind bars on drug charges and for a pursuit.

The Stanton County Sheriff's Office says 22-year-old Shawnessy Sulley was sentenced Monday to two years in prison for attempted possession of controlled substance with the intent to deliver and one year in prison for attempted assault on an officer.

Sulley was originally arrested after a pursuit last August where he fled from the Stanton County Sheriff's Office after a traffic stop and later jumped from a moving vehicle.
