NORFOLK, Neb. -- A northeast Nebraska organization will be hosting an event on Saturday at the Midtown Events Center.

The event, hosted by Patriots United, will run from noon to 6 p.m.

Speaker and emcee Trent Loos is a farmer in central Nebraska. He hosts the radio program Loos Tales, that airs on over 100 stations and has over 3 million listeners. He is also the founder of the nonprofit organization Faces of Agriculture.

Also speaking will be Kevin Jenkins, the founder of Freedom Travel Alliance and Urban Global Health Alliance.  He was the co-producer of the documentary Medical Racism.

Author Amanda Radek will also be among the presenters.

She is the author of five children’s books, an agricultural blogger and speaker, a western retailer, and a South Dakota cattle rancher.

Dr. Edward “Ted” Fogarty, a clinical radiologist in North Dakota and chair of the Department of Radiology at UND, will also be present.

“Medicine has become increasingly monetized and politicized, and chronic diseases are skyrocketing to the point of no return, as the way to true human health is being suppressed,” says Fogarty. “The best method to health is prevention, and increasing oxygen levels, feeding the immune system, and letting the body do what God intended for it to do."

According to Heidi McNally, a member of Patriots United, the group began last fall with a small group of concerned citizens and has grown substantially since then.

“Patriots United is about protecting our constitutional freedoms," McNally said. "It’s time for us to start paying attention, become aware and get involved. We are excited to have these speakers come to Norfolk.
