Vehicle accident closes N Victory Road

Authorities respond to a vehicle accident near 3000 N Victory Road.

NORFOLK, Neb. -- Authorities respond to a vehicle accident near 3000 N Victory Road.

The vehicle accident caused officials to close the road Tuesday afternoon. 

Around 4:45 p.m. authorities said that as a result of the crash, the bridge was damaged and the road will be closed until further notice.

The section of the road closed is between Norfolk Iron & Metal, north to Nucor Road. 

Norfolk Police Division said to not drive around the barricades as bridge safety is a major concern.
