Northeast Nebraska men arrested on drug, child abuse charges
STANTON, Neb. -- Two northeast Nebraska men are facing felony charges after an arrest in Stanton County on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Stanton County Sheriff Mike Unger, 24-year-old Richard Brachle, of Randolph, and 23-year-old Dalton Kolar, of Laurel, were arrested on charges of possession with intent to deliver, delivery of a controlled substance, and child abuse.
The two were arrested following an investigation that involved controlled buys in Stanton on three separate occasions, Unger said.
According to Unger, one of the reported sales involved the presence of a five-year-old boy who was brought to a Stanton residence by the suspects during the sale and delivery earlier this spring.
Illegal drug contraband and marked currency were reportedly recovered during the investigation and seized as evidence, according to the Stanton County Sheriff's Office.
Both suspects were booked at the sheriff’s office on the felony charges and are scheduled to appear in court in August.
