STANTON, Neb. -- A 57-year-old northeast Nebraska man is in custody after a reported break-in and theft on Thursday.
The Stanton County Sheriff's Office says it responded to a complaint at a Stanton home on the east side of town.
Investigators identified Kenneth Claussen Jr., of Stanton, as a suspect. He was later located in Stanton by the Sheriff's office and was placed under arrest for theft, criminal trespass, and obstructing a police officer.
According to Sheriff Mike Unger, Claussen eventually admitted to the thefts, and the stolen property was recovered at his residence.
Claussen was booked at the Stanton County Sheriff's Office and is scheduled to appear in court in August.
