'Concrete Cares' partners with Fairplay Golf Course to raise cancer awareness

A local golf course in Norfolk on Saturday held a tournament dedicated to helping families affected by cancer.

NORFOLK, Neb.-- A northeast Nebraska golf course was helping raise money for Nebraskans affected by cancer.

On Saturday, Fairplay Golf Course in Norfolk was partnering with Concrete Cares of Nebraska for a fundraising golf tournament with all proceeds going to help families fighting the fight against cancer.

96 percent of funds go directly to individual Nebraska families.

If anyone is interested in participating in the next event coming up, Concrete Cares will have a '2-Lady Scramble' event in Kearney on July 16.
