Accident north of Ewing affecting traffic

EWING, Neb. -- Authorities responded to an accident near Ewing that affected traffic Tuesday afternoon. 

According to the Summerland Advocate-Messenger's LuAnn Schindler, traffic was being rerouted just before 3 p.m. for a two-vehicle accident north of Ewing. 

Schindler reported that the driver of the pickup was trapped with the vehicle on its side, and there was a person in the other vehicle. 

Four fire and rescue departments were reported to be on the scene, and no transport was made.
