Dixon County man accused of sexual assault of child

A northeast Nebraska man is facing charges after being accused of sexually assaulting a minor.

ALLEN, Neb. -- A northeast Nebraska man is facing charges after being accused of sexually assaulting a minor. 

According to court documents, 58-year-old Bruce Malcom of Allen is facing charges of third-degree sexual assault of a child, contributing to the delinquency of a minor or procuring alcohol to a minor in connection with an incident that reportedly happened on July 24. 

Court documents said the 10-year-old girl told authorities Malcom touched her inappropriately while riding UTVs and ATVs home in rural Dixon County. 

The victim also reported during a police interview that Malcom told her to take her clothes off, gave her $20 and told her not to tell anyone. 

Malcom remains in custody pending the posting of his bond that was set for $60,000.
