NORFOLK, Neb. -- After almost a year on the run, a Norfolk man was arrested on Monday.

The Stanton County Sheriff's Office said 55-year-old Brad Tuttle, of Norfolk, had an arrest warrant issued for him in March 2022. Tuttle was wanted for burglary, felony theft, and criminal trespass. His charges are reportedly connected to a break-in from early last year that occurred at the Rock Company, west of Stanton.

Officers said Tuttle has been on the run since the incident and they suspected that he was in the Norfolk area. A citizen reportedly notified officers that Tuttle was inside of a Norfolk business after he got out of a red vehicle in north Norfolk.

According to authorities, Tuttle had left the area before Norfolk Police could show up. He was later taken into custody by SCSO from the Norfolk residence that the red vehicle was reportedly registered to.

SCSO said Tuttle was jailed for the felony warrant and his bond was set at $50,000. The Norfolk Police Division help with the arrest.
