Snow emergency for Madison County effective Wednesday evening
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the county of Madison.

NORFOLK, Neb. -- The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the county of Madison.
Madison County will be in a winter storm warning starting Wednesday at 12 p.m., and it will remain in effect until 12 p.m. Thursday.
NWS said that the forecasted snowfall for the area is expected to be 4 to 6 inches.
For public safety and for more efficient snow removal, the City of Norfolk declared the snow emergency effective at 5 p.m. Wednesday until further notice.
There will be no parking allowed in all cul-de-sacs and emergency routes.
