NORFOLK, Neb. -- A man wanted on a Pierce County warrant was arrested after a disturbance in a parked vehicle over the weekend.

On Friday morning just before 9:00 a.m., Norfolk Police officers were called to a parking lot on Norfolk Avenue. NPD had received reports of a disturbance between two people inside a parked vehicle.

Officers identified both people, including 46-year-old Jason L. Jensen. NPD learned that Jensen had an outstanding Pierce County arrest warrant and took him into custody.

During a subsequent search, officers recovered a glass vial containing liquefied methamphetamine, according to Norfolk Police Capt. Michael Bauer.

Jensen was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. He was housed in the Norfolk City Jail and later transferred to the Madison County Jail.
