STANTON, Neb. -- A Minnesota man was arrested for more than double the legal BAC limit in Stanton County.

Stanton County Sheriff's Office said that on Sunday around 1:30 a.m., they pulled over a speeding vehicle on Highway 35 just north of Norfolk.

The driver was also reportedly seen driving on the shoulder.

When SCSO pulled over the vehicle, they spoke with 35-year-old Todd Ferguson of Minneapolis.

Ferguson was reportedly found to be intoxicated and was arrested for a DWI.

SCSO said Ferguson was booked at the Sheriff's Office where he gave a breath sample that was more than twice the legal limit.

The Sheriff's Office said Ferguson was found to have at least two prior DWI convictions, and is currently on probation for DWI out of Minnesota.

Ferguson was jailed on the felony DWI offense pending the posting of a not yet determined cash bond.
