Norfolk Walmart loses refrigeration

The Walmart in Norfolk is dealing with the adversity of cold temperatures.

NORFOLK, Neb. -- The Walmart in Norfolk is dealing with the adversity of cold temperatures.

According to a Facebook post from, Walmart Norfolk on W. Pasewalk Ave, the store had lost refrigeration on Saturday and had to stow away all their food due to the severe weather conditions.

They lost refrigeration in parts of their dairy, meat and frozen food sections.

Employees rushed to pack away all the food that could spoil without proper cooling.

Walmart stated that if you are in need or looking for your essentials, to ask an associate who can grab it for you from the back.

There is no time frame yet as to when the refrigerators will be back up and running.
