SCSO says Highway 57 is closed north of Stanton

As of Monday morning, Highway 57 in Stanton County is still closed to traffic. People are still encouraged not to travel.

STANTON, Neb. -- As of Monday morning, Highway 57 in Stanton County is still closed to traffic. 

Stanton County Sheriff's Office says that the highway is still closed and blocked. Highway 57 is about a quarter of a mile north of the Highway 275 junction. 

SCSO Sheriff Mike Unger says that Highway 57 south of Stanton is open, but still encourages people to not travel on the highway. 

Unger says there are still numerous roads in the county that are still blocked.
