NORFOLK, Neb. -- Traffic in a northeast Nebraska town was at a standstill briefly after an SUV crashed into a train.

It  happened at a railroad crossing near the intersection of Seventh St. and Madison Ave. in Norfolk Wednesday morning.

Authorities say an eastbound SUV didn't stop at the intersection and collided with the train.

No injuries were reported and no major damage appeared to have been done to either the vehicle or the train, but the crash blocked multiple intersections for about an hour.

The intersection has since reopened.
