Fire causes more than $50,000 in damage to Norfolk home
The Norfolk Fire Division estimated $75,000 in damages to a home in Norfolk after a fire on Saturday morning.

NORFOLK, Neb. -- The Norfolk Fire Division estimated $75,000 in damages to a home in Norfolk after a fire on Saturday morning.
According to Norfolk Fire Division Captain Lannce Grothe, the NFD was dispatched at 10:29 a.m. to a house in the 600 block of W Walnut for a house fire.
Crews arrived and saw smoke and flames coming from the structure.
It took 13 firefighters and five rigs around 10 minutes to control the fire.
The structure sustained $50,000 of damages and $25,000 to contents inside the house.
No one was injured in the fire.
The cause of the blaze has not been determined.
Norfolk Fire was assisted by Norfolk Police, Hadar Fire, NPPD, and Black Hills Energy.
