STANTON COUNTY, Neb.- A Norfolk man is being held for felony and has ICE hold, officials say.

50-year-old Juan Jaraz-Armenta was stopped by the Stanton County sheriffs office Saturday afternoon for having excessive tint on his vehicle.

Deputies say that records show he had multiple DWI’s and was ineligible to drive until at least 2027.

Jaraz-Armenta was arrested for the felony driving during suspension.

“Another example of pro-active traffic enforcement that gets a felon off the roadways that shouldn’t be driving and helps keep our loved ones safer,” Sheriff Mike Unger said in a news release.

The sheriffs office later posted an update that it was discovered Jaraz-Armenta had been deported 4 times and re-entered the United Stated unlawfully, leading to him having a Federal ICE hold put in place.
