Nebraska weather continues to break records this season.

Just after record snowfalls hit Norfolk last month, several areas throughout the state are experiencing abnormally warm temperatures.

The National Weather Service reported new record highs in Valentine and Broken Bow for November 18th.

The NWS also said Lincoln matched the most amount of 70 degree days reported for the month of November.

People in Nebraska are taking the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.

"70 degrees this late is definitely something I'm not used to," said Norfolk resident Evan Cribben, out at Ta Ha Zouka dog park to help his pup Oswald burn some energy.

"This is definitely something new and something nice."

Omaha got very close to its October 19th record high of 73 degrees.

Last year, Norfolk broke its 1997 October 25th snowfall record of TWO point Seven inches.

In the next few days, Lincoln and Omaha are expected to dip back down into the high forties.
