Pender Community Hospital names interim CEO

Pender Community Hospital has named Shane Schuster as interim CEO.

PENDER, Neb. -- A hospital in northeast Nebraska has new temporary leadership.

Pender Community Hospital has named Shane Schuster as interim CEO.

Schuster will serve in the role during the search for a permanent CEO. He is currently the ancillary services director at the hospital.

Originally from Laurel, Schuster graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Pharmacy in Omaha.

Schuster worked as a pharmacist for 12 years before joining Pender Community Hospital in the Apothecary Shop as the pharmacy manager seven years ago.
