A new type of pajama party: collecting clothes for children

The Salvation Army and Advance Services in Norfolk are collecting pajamas for children this Christmas through the Pajama Project.

NORFOLK, Neb. --  The Salvation Army and Advance Services in Norfolk are collecting pajamas for children this Christmas through the Pajama Project.

Major Corp. Officer Kelli Trejo, said they hope to reach 350 sets of pajamas but, she also hopes that the giving doesn't stop with clothes.

Trejo noted the local branch serves all of Northeast Nebraska, as far as Knox County. 

Drop-off locations include: the Norfolk Salvation Army, Advance Services, Anytime Fitness, and Sundance Investments.

Most needed sizes are boys sizes 8 to adult. The pajama project deadline is December 16th, according to Trejo.
