O'Neill's Hostert recognized for work with FFA

A northeast Nebraska educator has received a statewide FFA award.

O'NEILL, Neb. -- A northeast Nebraska educator has received a statewide FFA award.

O'Neill Public Schools Activities Director Nick Hostert was awarded the Nebraska FFA Cornerstone Award, the school district announced Tuesday.

The award recognizes four administrators within the state for their long-term support of agricultural education and FFA.

Hostert has also served on the O'Neill FFA officer team selection committee and provided assistance in setting up for major events such as the chapter banquet and fundraisers.
