Nembhard transfers to Gonzaga
A former Creighton point guard has settled on his new home.

OMAHA, Neb. – A former Creighton point guard has settled on his new home.
Ryan Nembhard, who announced earlier this month that he was entering the transfer portal, has committed to play for Gonzaga next season.
Nembhard, a native of Canada, was one of the top transfer recruits in the country. He helped lead Creighton to the Elite 8 this past season.
He averaged 12.1 points, 4.8 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game this past season.
Nembhard’s brother, Andrew Nembhard, played two seasons at Gonzaga. When he was transferring from Florida, Andrew Nembhard was recruited by current Arizona coach Tommy Lloyd. As a result, both Gonzaga and Arizona were considered highly likely landing spots for the younger Nembhard.
Creighton has already landed a potential replacement for Nembhard, announcing the commitment of Utah State transfer Steven Ashworth earlier this week.
That hasn’t been the only bit of in-and-out news for Creighton this offseason, with Omaha native Shereef Mitchell transferring to Ohio, while former Grand Island blue chip recruit Isaac Traudt has transferred in from Virginia.
