Omaha shooting leaves two injured
OMAHA, Neb. - Officials said they have made an arrest in a shooting that injured two people late Wednesday.
OPD said officers responded to a residence in the 3800 block of Florence Boulevard around 10:50 p.m.
Officers said they located a 21-year-old man who had a gunshot wound. OFD medics took the victim to the Nebraska Medical Center in serious condition.
OPD said a 26-year-old man arrived at a hospital by private vehicle and stated he was shot in the same incident. He was transported to CUMC - Bergan Mercy Medical Center for further treatment.
Officials said neither victims' injuries are considered life-threatening.
Authorities said they determined 62-year-old, Deborah McCants, shot both victims. Officers located McCants in a residence near 18th and Binney.
OPD said McCants was booked at Douglas County Corrections for 1st-degree assault, use of a firearm to commit a felony, and possession of an unregistered firearm.
