Stanton County names new Chief Deputy Sheriff

STANTON, Neb. -- The Stanton County Sheriff's Office recently announced their new Chief Deputy Sheriff.

SCSO said they haven't had a Chief Deputy Sheriff for about six years but have now changed that.

This week, Sheriff Unger promoted Sergeant Aaron Kleensang to the position. Kleensang has worked with SCSO for seven years now but has worked in law enforcement for more than 14 years.

Kleensang was a supervisory sergeant at Dodge County Corrections before working at SCSO. He has constantly led SCSO in felony arrests and overall drug and alcohol related arrests
