OMAHA, Neb.-- OPD said they are investigating an assault and robbery that happened Wednesday night.
Officials said they responded to a cutting called at Levi Carter Park around 9:45 p.m.
According to officials, officers spoke with the victim, a 65-year-old man, who said he was near the boat docks in the park when he got into an argument with the suspects.
OPD said the suspects were identified as 39-year-old, Jessica Sanchez, and an 18-year-old male.
The victim told OPD that the argument escalated to a physical altercation with one of the suspects cutting the victim with a knife. Both suspects then got into the victim's car and drove off.
OPD said the suspects were involved in a hit-and-run and then crashed near 5307 Lindbergh Drive.
Officers said they located Sanchez in the area and later located the other suspect at his residence.
OPD said the 18-year-old was booked for robbery and 3rd-degree assault, and Sanchez was booked for theft by receiving.
OFD medics took the victim to the Nebraska Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
