NORFOLK, Neb. -- Norfolk Police have arrested a man for trespassing on Sunday.

The Norfolk Police Division stated in a press release that they were called to a residence at 4:12 a.m. Sunday.

Officers said they made contact with 20-year-old Manuel Garcia Jr., of Iowa, who was banging on a residence's windows.

Officers reportedly told Garcia that he was trespassing and needed to leave.

He was also warned that should he return, the police could arrest him.

Less than an hour later, at 5:04 a.m., officers returned to the residence where they said Garcia had come back, and this time entered the home.

After establishing contact with Garcia again, officers placed him under arrest.

Officers said they found a small baggie of cocaine in Garcia's wallet when conducting a subsequent search.

He was arrested for first-degree trespassing and possession of a controlled substance.
