Fatal vehicle accident claims life of Scottsbluff man

SCOTTSBLUFF - The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating a fatality accident west of Scottsbluff at approximately 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

State Patrol Spokesman Cody Thomas says Gary Kirchhefer, 53, of Scottsbluff, was traveling eastbound on Highway 92 in a Chevrolet pickup when he left the roadway. Kirchhefer overcorrected and rolled the vehicle. 

Kirchhefer was pronounced dead at the scene.
