Norfolk baseball coach Brian Disch resigns at end of year

NORFOLK, Neb. -- One more trip around the bags for Norfolk Baseball Head Coach Brian Disch. 

Norfolk Senior High School released the announcement of Disch's resignation which will take effect at the end of the 2024-25 school year. 

Disch has taught and coached the Panthers for 11 years.

"In the process, I have created lifelong relationships," Disch said. "Because of this, it was a very difficult decision. I would like to thank everyone for the opportunity to represent Norfolk High School. It has been a great experience, one I will never forget."

"Brian Disch has been a dedicated coach and strong advocate for his athletes and students," said John Erwin, Norfolk Senior High activities director. 

The search for the next baseball coach is underway.
