Peru State College Hurler Takes Home Weekly HAAC Honor

OVERLAND PARK, KS - On Monday, February 17, the Heart of America Athletic Conference announced their baseball players of the week. Kevin Diaz was named Heart Baseball Pitcher of the Week, presented by BoxOut.  

Kevin Diaz pitched a complete game against Central Christian on Friday, February 14. He only allowed three hits and had ten strikeouts in game one of the weekend series, setting the tone that the Bobcats were looking for.  He threw 67% strikes on the mound in his 97 pitches in the game.  

The Bobcats are back on the road on February 23 and 24 in Yankton, S.D., at Mount Marty University.
