OGLALA, S.D. - Authorities are investigating a deadly pedestrian-vehicle crash that happened Saturday night in Oglala.

According to OST DPS Highway Safety, officers responded to a call at the intersection of Creekside Lane and U.S. Highway 18, where they found a man lying in the road and a vehicle. Emergency responders, including an ambulance crew, attempted life-saving measures, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials have not yet released his name, pending notification of his family. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
